BRIAN & WENDY MITCHELL

Brian & Wendy currently live in Roswell along with three young daughters– Joni (8), Sadie (6), and Laney (4), plus a miniature dachshund named Cam (after Cam Newton, because they are both “elusive runners”.)

Brian grew up in a small town in Alabama where the closest Walmart is 40 minutes away, and he graduated from Auburn (which explains the Cam Newton connection) with a degree in Geography. He is a licensed land surveyor and currently serves as Director of Operations for Geolucix, part of the LiDAR division of W&A Engineering. Translation: he conducts aerial surveys using drones with laser scanners, which sounds way cool.

Wendy was born in Massachusetts, but she doesn’t want you to know that, because the bio she provided simply says her family moved to Roswell, Georgia when she was just one year old. After growing up in the Atlanta area she attended Auburn as well and earned a Marketing degree.

Despite three years on campus at the same time, Brian and Wendy never, knowingly, crossed paths. They were introduced to each other via the World Wide Web in 2008, and this past year they celebrated their 10th anniversary. 

Today, Wendy runs her own consulting firm, Ripple Market Research, when she’s not shuttling the girls around to school, dance, or art classes. On most Friday evenings you can find the Mitchells at home enjoying Family Movie Night together.
